Submitting Your Music
We have so many musical talents among our First Peoples, and we are excited that you are interested in submitting your music to be on one of our programs! We are looking for prayerful and peaceful songs of Christian worship, so please be sure to keep that in mind. The music you submit can be either a song or feature a musical instrument. Please note that we are not able to use every song that is submitted, and we hope you understand. Because RHIM is a ministry, we are unable to provide any financial payment to you. However, should we feature your song, we may provide a link to your webpage. Please keep in mind that many songs are copyrighted, and so cannot be legally used without the owner’s permission. Therefore, we ask that the songs you send be older hymns, gospel music, or a song that you wrote yourself.
- Record your music in a quiet place. Background noise will really hurt a good quality recording.
- If there is more than one person singing, be sure the main singer is the closest one to the microphone.
- Keep instruments behind the singers.
- Listen to your recording before you send it, and record it several times until you have the best quality.
